This Privacy Policy explains how FitMyWall (“FitMyWall”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, web application, and the FitMyWall Shopify app (together, the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

• Account information — name and email address when you sign up, and authentication details if you sign in with Google.
• Images you upload — photos of your wall and artwork images you provide so we can generate a to-scale preview. These are processed to create your preview and may be cached temporarily to power features like re-rendering and history.
• Billing information — handled by our payment processors; we receive limited details (plan, status, last four digits) but never your full card number.
• Usage & device data — pages viewed, actions taken, approximate device/browser, and a hashed (not raw) IP address for analytics, abuse prevention, and billing of widget preview sessions. We do not store shopper personal identifiers from storefront previews.

2. How we use information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service and generate your wall previews.
• To process subscriptions and bill for usage.
• To diagnose problems, monitor performance, and prevent abuse.
• To communicate with you about your account, support requests, and service updates.

3. Third-party services

We share data with service providers only as needed to run the Service:

• Stripe — payment processing for the web app plans.
• Shopify— billing and app integration for merchants who install our Shopify app (handled via Shopify’s Billing API).
• OpenAI — optional AI features (e.g. automatic wall detection / relighting) may send a wall image to OpenAI for processing. This applies only when those features are used.
• Hosting & infrastructure providers — to store and serve the application and data.

4. Cookies

We use a first-party session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Raw widget event/analytics records are retained for approximately 90 days; aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics may be kept longer. Uploaded images are retained only as long as needed to provide the preview features and are deleted on account deletion or on request.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. Shopify merchants’ data-deletion requests are handled through Shopify’s mandatory shop/redact and customers/redact webhooks.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed IP storage, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
